Can you tell us a little about yourself and your business? 

I was born in Rathangan, but residing in Clonbullogue Co Offaly, I will soon finish my year as President of Network Ireland Kildare Branch. A business development manager currently working in Flair Hair and Beauty Supplies in Naas with a background of many years management experience in the community pharmacy sector. As an Award Winning Manager, I am extremely customer focused and I have a drive for improving the health and well-being of all around me. I provide my advanced skills and knowledge of leadership and networking abilities to bring brand awareness and promote business development opportunities. My ability to Network and connect is attributed to my very high standard of work ethics, communication skills, business development and mentoring,


What inspired you to start your business or career in this field? 

My family has been the biggest supporter and influence to my career. Although, my direction has come from Network Ireland. It provides crucial support and opportunities to grow as an individual or as an employee. Personnel growth is critical for our future success and our ability to achieve and grow. The Network Ireland community is committed to providing the support needed for this. What’s the most rewarding part of your job? Watching the businesses success to date, but more importantly watching my team grow and develop as individuals with confidence.


Can you share a defining moment or challenge that shaped your journey? 

My story is truly extraordinary. I managed to turn my family's horrific tragedy into a powerful life philosophy that focuses on helping others. Moving on to today been successful in business, implementing new business models and strategies into my workplace with continued growth development plans creating new sustainable success. My mission is showing others, especially women that because we are such creatures of self-doubt, not to underestimate the power within.


Who or what has been the biggest influence on your professional life? 

My husband Noel is definitely my biggest influence as he has supported me through so many tough times and decisions in my life. After 33 years of being together he remains my biggest supporter personally and professionally. What motivates you to keep going during difficult times? A lot of people depend on me! The love of my family motivates me to be the best I can be.

When you're not working, what do you do in your spare time? 

I adore networking My enthusiasm for networking started in 2019 when I joined Network Ireland Kildare Branch and very quickly reaped the awards. I was fortunate to win Network Ireland Kildare Branch Business Woman of the Year awards in 2019 Employee Shining Star and later went on to represent Kildare as a National Finalist in Cork. One of my many highlights was getting the opportunity to be a guest speaker at International Women's Day 2020. Joining the committee in 2020 and has since committed herself to connecting and driving high standards of networking in the Kildare branch. 


You have experience a photoshoot with Jill, What was the experience like for you?

 I felt like a movie star ! The most incredible experience where she made me feel so good and look incredible. The entire experience start to finish was for me one of life’s highlights.


What motivates you to keep going during difficult times? 

A lot of people depend on me! The love of my family motivates me to be the best I can be. 

What has been the biggest lesson you’ve learned as a businesswoman? 

Life’s path takes you in many directions, to learn and grow with each lesson and to be able to continue making a difference in life no matter what the circumstances, then you will always find yourself ahead. What legacy do you hope to leave behind? I want to be remembered for my resilience, compassion and kindness to others. Legacies are not just about being ultimately a great business person but more about being a incredible leader who can make a big difference in every way possible to help others.


What’s next for you and your business? 

My next mission is to continue my journey within the Network Ireland Community. Driving the Personal and Professional Development of Women; Leading, Supporting and Collaborating. Lots of time to reflect on my journey to date and to reach more of my personal goals. I am so excited to begin this next phase of my journey with Network Ireland . I am full of passionate energy and an abundance of gratitude. One of my greatest goals in life is to have opportunities and abilities to make others shine and to drive them towards successful outcomes.
